RAD, a leader in networking edge solutions, today announced the launch of ETX‑2i‑400G, an advanced 400G Ethernet demarcation and aggregation device, purpose‑built for data center interconnect (DCI) and high‑capacity enterprise connectivity.
The new addition to the ETX line of Ethernet edge platforms is ideal for CSPs seeking to offer high-capacity, low-latency, SLA-based business services with best-in-class capabilities. It delivers the leap in capacity necessary to support networking requirements in the AI era.
“Training AI models require moving massive datasets quickly and efficiently between data centers to ensure that expensive GPU resources never sit idle,” says Eli Angel, Vice President of Product and Marketing at RAD. “This is where our new solution comes in, enabling cost‑effective and secure transfer of large data streams between data centers. What’s more, it is in perfect alignment with Mplify’s Carrier Ethernet for AI certification program, which validates AI-ready infrastructure,” he continues.
Leveraging multiple 400G QSP-DD interfaces, the ETX‑2i‑400G enables scalable DCI deployments and ultra‑high‑bandwidth services for enterprise customers. In addition, it will also allow CSPs to secure their networks against future threats through a crypto agile framework, which includes Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post‑Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
The ETX-2i-400G will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, March 2-5, 2026, booth #5E61.
