RAD’s fiber and copper modem racks (or shelves) provide a cost-effective, space-saving, central office solution for rack mounting interface converters, 2/4-wire copper modems, 2/4-wire DSL modems, fiber optic multiplexers, and fiber optic modems.
The racks come in a 4U high chassis and support redundant power supplies and hot swappable modules. Remote and hub site modems are managed via SNMP central management.
