RAD’s Service Assured Access Solution Wins Telecom Asia’s Readers’ Choice Award for Broadband Innovation
RAD’s Service Assured Access solution has won Telecom Asia’s prestigious Readers’ Choice Award for 2013 in the Broadband Innovation category.
The awards recognize the contribution of the top telecom vendors operating in the Asia-Pacific region. The announcement was made in Singapore at the conclusion of the magazine’s annual Insight Summit for senior-level telecom industry executives.
“Given that RAD introduced its Service Assured Access concept to the market only six months ago, winning this award illustrates how rapidly it is being adopted by service providers and how well it is regarded by our industry colleagues worldwide,” states Ulik Broida, the company’s Vice President of Marketing.
RAD’s Service Assured Access solution was one of 174 that were initially nominated before a shortlist compiled by a panel of judges reduced that list to 69. Voting was then opened to Telecom Asia’s extensive online subscriber base of service providers.
Increases Revenue while Lowering TCO
Service Assured Access has become a “must have” for service providers because it provides complete end-to-end service management over the full variety of deployment modes: Fiber, DSL and SDH/SONET/PDH. “This allows service providers total visibility throughout the network, all the way to the end-user’s premises, enabling them to deliver the most reliable services,” Broida explains. “That, in turn, increases customer satisfaction, decreases customer churn and solidifies the service provider’s reputation as the vendor of choice for Carrier Ethernet enterprise services,” he adds. “Service Assured Access is a proven tool for increasing revenue while decreasing total cost of ownership (TCO).”
