Overview
Our Global Services Engineer is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team.
Location: This position is fully remote.
Responsibilites
- Function as primary customer contact for all assigned cases by providing telephone, web, and email-based technical support for RAD Data Communication, Inc.’s products.
- Analyze network and equipment configuration problems and defects.
- Interface with 3rd Tier Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, and other departments to address customers’ issues effectively.
- Present technical training to co-workers and customers as needed.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and support when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the areas listed below:
- Carrier Ethernet Technology
- IP/Ethernet – VLANs, Routing, Switching
- QOS – Prioritization and Policing
- IT Network Administration
- A BA or BS in a technical field is highly desirable.
- Approximately 15% travel.
