Overview

Our Global Services Engineer is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team.
Location: This position is fully remote.

 

Responsibilites

  • Function as primary customer contact for all assigned cases by providing telephone, web, and email-based technical support for RAD Data Communication, Inc.’s products.
  • Analyze network and equipment configuration problems and defects.
  • Interface with 3rd Tier Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, and other departments to address customers’ issues effectively.
  • Present technical training to co-workers and customers as needed.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and support when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the areas listed below:
  • Carrier Ethernet Technology
  • IP/Ethernet – VLANs, Routing, Switching
  • QOS – Prioritization and Policing
  • IT Network Administration
  • A BA or BS in a technical field is highly desirable.
  • Approximately 15% travel.
