RAD's policy is to ensure that all its products sold in the European Union (EU) comply with relevant EU directives, such as the EMC (89/336/EC), LVD (73/23/EC), the R&TTE (99/5/EC), ROHS (2002/95/EC) and WEEE (2002/96/EC).

RAD has been active in EMC and SAFETY for many years and is familiar with international regulatory compliance requirements. 

In 1995, RAD's EMC Lab was established, enhanced in 2001 with a shielded chamber and in 2006 with comprehensive immunity testing equipment.

In 1998, RAD's SAFETY Lab was established. In 2000 it was certified by UL (under their Client Test Data Program).

In 2007 certified by TUV Reinland of North America Inc. (under their Supervised Manufacturing Testing Program). 

R&D engineers are guided by our International Approvals experts team throughout the design and testing process.
