RAD's Vmux-310 analog SIP VoIP gateway is a standard VoIP gateway, designed for converging voice, fax and data over IP networks. The Vmux-310 analog SIP VoIP gateway converts up to 24 FXS ports (phone or fax) to IP-based voice streams using standard SIP signaling, voice codecs and fax relay mechanisms.

 

The Vmux-310 analog SIP VoIP gateway is used extensively by service providers looking to provide voice services to SOHO customers over existing networks. The Vmux-310 analog SIP VoIP gateway is also employed by enterprise customers wanting to converge their voice and data services over one network, with or without the addition of a SIP server.

 

The Vmux-310 analog SIP VoIP gateway is fully compatible and interoperable with leading softswitches and SIP servers.

The Vmux-310 VoIP SIP analog gateway is an analog VoIP gateway designed for commercial VoIP deployment. It provides superior voice technology for connecting legacy telephones (POTS), fax machines and PBX systems over IP-based telephony networks, as well as for integration with new IP-based PBX architectures.

 

Using standard G.729A, G.726 and G.723.1 compression algorithms with Voice Activity Detection and silence suppression, Vmux-310 VoIP SIP analog gateway provides efficient bandwidth optimization, leaving more bandwidth for data transport. It optimizes voice transmission for satellite links, pay phone networks, and centralized IVR and Quality Monitoring applications. The unit can also be deployed in MTU (Multi-Tenant Units) broadband access networks, IP Centrex and rural applications.

The Vmux-310 was designed and tested to be fully interoperable with leading soft switches and SIP servers.

 

Vmux-310 is a compact, 1U-high, half 19-inch wide standalone unit. It supports two, four, eight, or 24 FXS ports for POTS connection, and also incorporates a 10/100BaseT Ethernet uplink. It is available with an AC power supply.
