Last Mile (Local Loop)

RAD Data Communications has a full portfolio of Local Loop access products, offering cost-effective, high-capacity solutions for extending Ethernet, voice and data services long distances in the Last Mile.

RAD’s Local Loop product solutions include copper modems, fiber modems, DSL modems, miniature fiber modems, miniature copper modems, service aggregation racks, and wireless multiplexers.

RAD’s DSL modems support data transmission rates of up to 22.2 Mbps, with a maximum range of 10 km (6.25 miles). Repeaters enable transport over even larger distances. Fiber modems offer a range up to 140 km (87.5), with selectable data rates of 19.2 kbps to 256 kbps.
