RAD’s Service Assured Access Solution Shortlisted for Telecom Asia Readers Choice Award as Broadband Innovation of the Year
RAD’s Service Assured Access (SAA) solution has been shortlisted for a Telecom Asia Readers Choice & Innovations Award in the Broadband Innovation of the Year category.
“Being chosen for this shortlist testifies how unique and advanced our Service Assured Access solution really is,” states Yacov Cazes, Director of Business Development at RAD. “Service providers implementing Service Assured Access report that they are significantly increasing their service revenues while lowering all aspects of their operational costs in the access network.”
Service Assured Access enables service providers to build a complete Carrier Ethernet access network, including smart demarcation and Ethernet service pre-aggregation. To accomplish this, it features a robust service lifecycle toolkit that is designed to normalize the access network using a vast array of capabilities that go beyond MEF CE 2.0 requirements. Moreover, the RAD solution supports multiple deployment mode scenarios over fiber, DSL and PDH/SDH/SONET bearer circuits and can even be used to enable existing networks with Ethernet OAM capabilities and service demarcation.
The editors of Telecom Asia, Asia's largest regional telecom publishing group, with support from a team of a dozen analysts, narrowed down this year’s 174 nominations in 17 categories to a shortlist of 69, representing 37 companies.
Voting Now Open
For the past six years, Telecom Asia has organized the awards to recognize the technology innovations and accomplishments of the top telecom vendors operating in the Asia-Pacific region. Voting is now open to its online subscriber base of service providers across the continent. The final winners of the awards will be announced on December 5 at Telecom Asia’s Asia Insight Summit, which takes place in Singapore in the presence of a large number of senior executives from throughout Asia.
Traditionally, the awards have placed a heavy emphasis on innovation. This year, however, “Innovation” was officially added to the name of the award to reflect the increased focus that suppliers have made to ensure their products and services help telcos find new ways to partner, test new business models and compete in the digital economy.
