Fiber Optic Multiplexers

RAD Data Communications has fiber optic multiplexers that enable cost-effective and efficient transport of multiple E1 or T1 lines, E3 or T3 tributaries and Ethernet over fiber optic links. RAD’s comprehensive product line of high-performance fiber optic multiplexer products features ranges of up to 120 km (75) miles.

The fiber optic multiplexers serve incumbent and alternative carriers, cellular operators, ISPs, utilities, transportation networks, large enterprises, and small and medium-sized businesses.

Typical applications for the fiber optic muxes include point-to-point and ring topology, E1, T1 fan out, E3, T3 extension, and drop and insert.

RAD’s fiber optic muxes are highly manageable, accompanied by a network management system for configuration, service, performance, security, and fault management. The compact fiber optic multiplexers also multiplex combined E1 and T1 channels according to the G.747 standard.
