At the central site, RAD's DXC-30 digital cross connects groom network management traffic alongside voice and data payload from different networks/equipment. At the remote sites, the DXC-30 digital cross connects maximize the bandwidth of each trunk before connecting to the network, and manage the remote modems at the customer premises. RADs xDSL modems, the ASMi-31 sync/async IDSL modem and the ASMi-52 SHDSL modem, are fully manageable units that come with a large variety of interfaces.
