Our Solution
RAD’s RICi Carrier Ethernet network termination units and Airmux-400 broadband wireless multiplexer enable service providers to quickly and economically extend Ethernet services over PDH and wireless tail-end connections. Together with RAD’s SHDSL modems and multiservice access nodes, these devices work opposite the Egate-100 POP aggregation gateway to provide a complete, end-to-end Ethernet solution between customer locations over diverse access lines and across packet switched networks. In addition to extending Ethernet services over PDH and wireless tail-ends, RAD’s solutions substantially reduce operating expenditures (OpEx) by allowing carriers and service providers to leverage their existing installed-base in reaching out-of-footprint customers and rolling out new broadband services.
